Real moms don't always nurse

But sometimes they do.

This isn't part of the Real moms meme but in keeping with the theme (and my strong desire to show off my new favorite pictire!!):

Love, love love it! So serene- I am still nursing my 17-month old and that snuggling time with him is so cherished as I know he will soon be off to bigger and better things!

Love it! As Justin approaches the 1 year mark, I've been taking some "self" portraits of him nursing, but haven't taken anything I love yet.

Hopefully I'll be able to capture something as sweet as this.

The photo makes me want to curl up and go to sleep - I so frequently fell asleep while nursing! I miss that closeness.

My wife nursed our first daughter (she's 4 now) until a week before her second birthday. She still occasionally nurses our second daughter (20 months).

The photos are beautiful; you've really captured what's lovely about nursing.
