Da Plane! Da Plane!

Gavin not only looks exactly like his father, he now has the same interests: airplanes!  Gavin can spot a plane in the sky from the first roar of the engine and he waves and babbles and points frantically to alert all the flying object.  Once it flies overhead he waves and says "bye bye bye bye".  It really is one of the cutest things I have ever seen and I've seen a lot of cute things in my day.  It really is that cute.

A Sign I'm Getting Old

When the radio station announces the newest soft rock hit by Michael Buble and I totally turn up the volume and prepare to rock out while cruising in my 1997 Nissan Altima that I feel like a bad-ass driving because it is paid off.

How I know I'm not old, yet: I giggle every time they say Michael Buble because his last name rhymes with boobie.
