The file grows larger...

File this under things I never thought I would hear/say:

"Do you know what dingleberries are?"

"No, what?"

"You know, when poop gets stuck on your butt hair."

"Oh, yeah.... I hate that."

Tha little gem of a conversation was overheard at work!!!

Oh, and I was also sent an e-mail asking about extended breastfeeding that Blew. My. Mind.

You can read more about it here.

Hehe, what a funny conversation. That reminds me of a funny one my husband and I had the other night... though now I'll be damned if I remember it.

Breastfeeding: sadly I'm starting to get the "how much longer do you plan on breastfeeding?" question thrown at me, and my son isn't quite six months old yet!
Some people...

The person who asked you if you orgasm while breastfeeding is just SICK. You handled it very well.

I posted a comment at Flickr for you on all of this.....

Some people just do not want to educate themselves on things. I find the people who say those sorts of things are the ones who have NO CLUE what any of the recomendations are. Davis was done breastfeeding at 11 months and I know people wondered when I would be done. Oh and we did not circumcise him either. Talk about questions....

When people choose not to educate themselves on something, thier view is far from valid. I pretend I only speak Spanish...lo ciento no habla ingles.

As a person who has breastfed many kids well into late toddlerhood and hasn't really had a nursing break in the past 6 years, I have to say W.T.F?!?!! to the person that emailed you. Breastfeeding is alot of things: amazing, tiring, wonderfully calming, annoying sometimes, comforting, painful, natural, emotional.....
But not sexual. That person is the one with some real issues.

People are amazing, aren't they? And I don't necessarily mean that in a good way. I breastfed my girl until 2 1/2 years. I stopped only because I had to to treat pre-cancerous stuff on my face that I'd been putting off treating for a year and could not any longer. People thought I was a nut for nursing so long. I did not care what they thought because I knew what was right for my sweet girl.
